Because every goodbye deserves gentleness.

At Splashing Paws, we believe a pet’s final chapter should be filled with comfort, dignity, and love. When the time comes, families deserve a place that understands the depth of that bond—and honors it with care.

Our Pet Hospice & Aftercare services are designed to support both pets and the people who love them, offering peace, presence, and guidance through one of life’s most difficult moments.

Gentle Hospice Care for Senior & Terminal Pets

Pet hospice focuses on comfort, calm, and quality of life.

Rather than medical treatment, our role is to provide a peaceful environment where pets can rest, feel safe, and be surrounded by kindness.

Our hospice support may include:

  • Quiet, private hospice accommodations
  • Comfort-focused routines tailored to your pet’s needs
  • Soft bedding, temperature-controlled spaces, and calming surroundings
  • Medication administration as directed by your veterinarian
  • Extra time, patience, and gentle human presence
  • Support for families who need help caring for their pet during this stage

We work alongside your veterinarian to ensure your pet’s comfort remains the priority. Our role is supportive care, not medical intervention.

Support During a Peaceful Goodbye

For families who choose humane euthanasia, we help create a setting that feels calm, private, and respectful.

We can:

  • Coordinate with trusted mobile veterinarians
  • Provide a quiet, familiar space for families who wish to be present
  • Offer soft blankets, gentle lighting, and time—never rushed
  • Create keepsakes such as paw prints or memorial tokens upon request

Every family grieves differently. We honor your wishes and your timeline.

Aftercare: Cremation & Burial Options

When a beloved pet passes, families should not have to navigate logistics alone.

We offer compassionate coordination for:

  • Private cremation (ashes returned to the family)
  • Communal cremation
  • Eco-conscious burial options (where legally permitted)
  • Memorial keepsakes and remembrance items

All aftercare services are handled with transparency, respect, and care through trusted, licensed partners.

Our Promise to You

  • Your pet is treated as family—always
  • No rushed decisions
  • No cold or transactional handling
  • Clear communication at every step
  • Dignity, respect, and compassion without exception

We know this is not just a service—it is a moment that will stay with you forever.
